As I mention before San Antonio is in the process of getting its first fashion incubator!!! What fun! You can now check out an informational site at www.safdi.org to get more info. Be prepared for all of the greatness that will be debuting there!!! As we get ready to head into Fall lets make sure we are ready to welcome our newest fashion baby to the party!!! I will keep you all posted as info becomes available, adn I can not wait to meet the upcoming talent!!!

Hot Summer men's fashion!!!

Summer is here and what about the men??? They need something great to wear as well...Right!! Well designers have heard the cry and they are coming out with great pieces!! Linen and cotton are still the leaders of the pack. Men's clothing has come along way, the pieces are comfy but stylish as you can see in the picture above. Nude colors are still big and will remain in demand. Check out Macy's or JCP for great affordable buys for that great guy in your life. SO the next time you are out getting you something nice pick him up something as well!!!

Summer 2012 Trend "Tribal"

Ladies it looks like we are taking it back to the Motherland....I mean that in a great way!! Tribal as it is being called is huge for the Summer! South African designers are finally making themselves known over seas and other luxury designers are starting to take note. Burberry among others has came out with a HAUTE Summer line that has the beautiful motherland tribal print all over it. I am not just talking bags but dresses, shoes, jackets and every accessory known to man!! I hope you are able to get your hands on some of these items because they are going fast. Personally, I have had tribal items in my collection for a hot minute! Also remember that you do not have to spend alot to get alot, I found a FAB matching necklace and ear ring set at Charming Charlies!! Love it!! See ya on the Run way!!

FInally it's here!!! SAFDI

Well folks it has been a long time in the works and I am happy to say that finally the first fashion incubator in San Antonio will be opening up!! Hopefully in August, this incubator will be a one stop shop for creatives to do:

Model calls
seminars/ training
sewing and pattern making
networking
conferences
market days and showrooms.....

and the list goes on!! We would not have made it this far with out you all and I just wanted to say Thanks!!! There is still work to do and dresses to sew, but we now have our foot in the door!! Remember these are our future leaders and small business owners that will continue to keep San Antonio growing and moving forward! Check out our YouTube feed and show your support to this great non-profit! This BEAT is military......What's HAUTE right now!

 All I can say is we have came along away since Rosie the Riveter!! I am loving this military look from the cape to HAUTE shorts!!! Fashion has found a way to take military dress to the next level!!! All I can say is "WERK" !

Military looks are making a come back fashionistas!! I'm loving the nautical looks, makes me want to be a sailor! Navy blue and white look fab on any skin tone and in any print from horizontal to vertical to solid you can rock it!! Of course you have to accessorize as well, make sure your bag and shoes speak to everyone and do not over power your fab outfit! Military looks have been around for ages and nothing is hotter then a women that can pull off such masculine look with feminine posy. Sorry fellas we stole this one as well!!! From high waist prints to sailor tops the Summer is going to be full of red, whit, and blue!!
