Fashion Night Out 2011 is tomorrow and I like so many other Fashionistas can not wait!!!! Here in SA the place to be is going to be the Shops at La Cantera. Eight established and emerging artists from the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center unveil works of art on recycled mannequins. The Shops at La Cantera and Blue Star Contemporary Art Center also are teaming up to help raise essential funding for Blue Star’s operations and exhibitions, as well as satellite exhibits, MOSAIC educational programming, lectures, workshops, and free Family Days.



On Wednesday, September 7 from 7 to 10 pm, Blue Star Contemporary Art Center will host a private preview party to celebrate the Models and Mannequins exhibition. VIP tickets are $75 per person. Mad Men has taken the world by storm not just because its a FAB show but also it has some of the best vintage styles around. TOO Die for Fall must haves for 2011!!

I hope you all are ready because this Fall season is going to be HOT!! I hit my favorite mall yesterday and found some hot items at numerous stores. I hit up New York and Co as well as Cole Haan and all I can say is HOTNESS!! Check out these fab finds from Cole Haan, yes fashionistas you MUST have these! Tell Santa and put them on your wish list!! You can rock these bad boys with riding pants, leggings and skinny jeans, everyone will tell you to work it girl!!!

Fall MUST Have Trends!!!

Ok Fashionistas the time is coming to bring out the boots and sweaters and retire those flip flops! Fall is fast approaching us, I know for us Texas chicas we will barely feel the difference ( Anything under 70 is Fall/winter in Texas ) LOL! But really, are you ready? Have you checked your closet and made sure your sweaters and boots are in good condition? What about your outer wear- jackets, capes, coats, cardigans how are they holding up? It's tax free in Texas this weekend and ALL of my favorite places are having blow out sales. What should I have in my closet you ask? Easy - Some GRRREAT dark denim jeans, a fab wrap cardigan, and some killer boots, and that's just for starters. This fab outfit comes from one my shops Boston Proper. The Jeans are wide leg which is huge this fall and the wrap has RICH colors in the plum family in it which are also huge for Fall. Feathers and Faux fur (Love the Animals, don't wear them), military cut, and color blocking are all making a statement this Fall. Brights are still on point but for the Fall we will call them RICH....Smile! So dig in your closet and pull out those wide leg trousers boho is going to be big this Fall as well!! Happy Shopping!!
