Fashion Week San Antonio 2010 !!!!

There are numerous shows through out the whole week!! Starting November 1-6 2010

Men's Fall Fashion

It's the Fall season folks and on my radio show I am going to be talking about the Fall wear for guys!! Hope all of you are ready!! Men listen up, invest in some fab finds for Fall!! Neutrals and military wear are huge this season. Keep that suit looking fab by going and dropping it off at the cleaners. Also men should have great coats in their closet as well. Invest in you a great winter coat. Remember fellas that just because you work construction, does not mean that you have to dress in your construction wear 24/7. There are alot of FAB finds out there!! Nothing makes a man look better then a great suit. You also need to have a pair of dark denim jeans!! Check out Kohl's, JC Penny's and Macy's!

Hello Fashionistas!!!

The Summer is believe it or not coming to a end. With that you will see prices starting to fall at your local retailers. Hopefully, you have taken advantage of this...there were Christmas is July sales last weekend!! For all of my parents, do not forget about Tax FREE weekend!!! What to buy you say? The staples of course, jeans, tee shirts, dresses, and shoes. Remember that it does not have to be name brand to be FAB!! Check out TJ Maxx and Marshall's for great finds that are also great on your wallet!! The kiddies will look fab and your will feel fab because you will save money!!! The 150 Dollar Challenge!!!

I was given a challenge to find a career wardrobe for 150 or less. I accepted the challenge and of course I not only beat it, I came back with 11 dollars in change. What did I get and where did I go you ask? Simple, I put my frugalista hat on and went to a store that carries career pieces in large quanties therefore they have fab prices! That place is K & G Superstore! I was able to get 1 280 dollar Suit for 49.99, a bright rose cardigan for 19 bucks and it's Silk, a black blouse with a V collar with trim 19 bucks, brown A line knee length skirt 19, Camel A line skirt 17 bucks, both skirts regularly 90 dollars each. All bottoms can be worn with other tops, and the cardigan can be worn over a FAB LBD!! All pieces work well and can also go from day to night!!

Maxi dress is still the Summer must have!

I have said this numerous times, but shopping lately has proved my point, the Maxi dress is indeed the Summer MUST HAVE!! No matter what color or design, they are easy to care for, easy to wear and breathable! I purchased a beautiful BRIGHT Yellow maxi dress from Charming Charlie's ..loves it and so do many other people! So girlies if you do not have one, head out and get you one!!! Try White House Black Market, Charlies, Dillards and Neiman Marcus for some great fines!

What a Break!!! Did ya miss me?

Guess who is back? Savvydiva of course, took a break to grade fashion projects and run around with my students. I am sooooooooooo proud of them and all of their shows, tonight FEVER - produced by MS COCO happens tonight @ 8 PM. Tony Harris has a show coming up on the 30th. San Antonio is finally trying to come up in fashion thx to the IADT graduates and shows! The Art institute is now in SA as well, so expect GREAT things coming up from both schools.
